Members of the Commission Liudmyla Volkova and Nadiia Kobetska took part in judge trainings in Poland

On December 5 and 6, 2023, the National School of Judges of Ukraine and the Programme “Competence Development for the Legal Sector of Ukraine” jointly organised an offsite training for judges on war crimes in Poland, which was attended by members of the Commission Liudmyla Volkova and Nadiia Kobetska.

On November 24 and 25, 2023, the Roundtable “Judicial integrity and professional ethics: standards and practice of evaluation” was held in Kyiv. Roman Ihnatov took part in the Steering Committee Meeting of the EU Project “Pravo-Justice” II

On November 24, 2023, the Steering Committee Meeting of the EU Project “Pravo-Justice” II was held with the Chairman of the Commission Roman Ihnatov taking part therein.

The participants of the meeting summed up the results of the current phase of the Project, discussed the results of each of its components with the national judicial bodies.

On November 23, 2023, the working meeting was held between the Chairman of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, Roman Ihnatov and the USAID Justice for All Program expert, Dr. Frank Van Luijk, to discuss psychological testing of candidates for judicial office.

Three judges were recognized as corresponding to the position held, and one judge was not recognized as corresponding to the position held

On December 11, 2023, the Panels of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, at its meetings, held interviews and determined the results of the qualification evaluation of four local court judges for correspondence to the position held. Based on the results of the qualification evaluation for compliance with the position held, the Commission made the following decisions:

On December 8, 2023, the Panels of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, at its meetings, held interviews and determined the results of the qualification evaluation of three local court judges for correspondence to the position held.

Based on the results of the qualification evaluation for compliance with the position held, the Commission made the following decisions:

Questions and answers regarding the submission of documents for participation in the competition for vacant positions of appellate court judges

In accordance with the decision of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine dated September 14, 2023 № 94/zp-23, a competition was announced to fill 532 vacant judges positions of appellate court judges.
