The issue of judges’ secondments to 5 courts is scheduled for consideration

According to part one of Article 55 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”, a judge may, with his or her consent, be seconded to another court of the same level and specialization to administer justice by a decision of the High Council of Justice adopted on the basis of a submission from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.

Competition to the administrative courts of appeal: the candidate is to be interviewed by the Commission’s plenary

On June 13, 2025, at the session of the First Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, interview was held and the results of the qualification evaluation of Viktor Valiukh in the competition for the position of a judge of the administrative court of appeal was determined.

Competition to the commercial courts of appeal: one candidate is to be interviewed by the Commission’s plenary, one candidate has not confirmed her ability to administer justice

On June 12, 2025, at the session of the Second Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, interviews were held and the results of the qualification evaluation of four candidates for the positions of judges of the commercial courts of appeal were determined.

Regarding the commencement of the qualification exam for candidates for the positions of local courts judges and judges who have expressed their intention to be transferred to another local court

The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine is making every effort to ensure the selection of candidates for local court judges. The concerns of candidates and the expectations of society are acknowledged, along with the importance of promptly filling judicial vacancies and the high level of responsibility entrusted to the Commission.

The Commission recommended the appointment of two judges

On June 11, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine at its plenary session considered the issue of recommendations for appointment to the positions of judges.

         The judges passed the qualification evaluation and were recognized by the Commission as suitable for the positions held.

         Taking into account the results of the qualification evaluation, the Commission decided to recommend:

On June 11, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine in plenary session considered the issue of terminating the qualification evaluation of two judges for their suitability for the positions held.

Based on the results of the session, the Commission made the following decisions:
