Ruslan Sydorovych

Ruslan Sydorovych was appointed as a member of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine by the decision of the High Council of Justice dated June 1, 2023.

He studied at the Law Faculty of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, where he received his degree in law. Since 1998 he has been a practicing advocate. He has experience in managing a bar association. In 2008 he held the position of Acting Chief of Staff of the Sviatoshynskyi District State Administration of the city of Kyiv.

In 2014–2019 he was a Member of the Parliament of Ukraine of the VIII convocation, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy and Justice, and the Chairman of the Sub-committee on the implementation of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights. At the same time, he was a member of the Constitutional Commission and the Judicial Reform Council. He actively participated in the development of draft laws on judicial reform.

Ruslan Sydorovych is the member of the First Chamber and member of the Second Panel of the Commission.
