It is impossible to imagine today the functioning of the domestic judicial system without the participation of women.
On March 3, 2021, a monthly meeting of representatives of international assistance projects on strengthening the Rule of Law organized by the USAID New Justice Program took place online.
The representatives of the highest state authorities of Ukraine, international organizations and international technical assistance projects participated in the event.
On March 01, 2021, the round table on the presentation of the Council of Europe’s new Project “Support for judicial institutions and processes to strengthen access to justice in Ukraine” took place online.
A round table was held online to discuss the new Council of Europe Project “Support for judicial institutions and processes to strengthen access to justice in Ukraine” (hereinafter – the Project) and was attended by representatives of the highest state authorities of Ukraine, international organizations and international technical assistance projects.
On the execution of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 09, 2020 No. 1236 “On the establishment of quarantine and implementation of enhanced anti-epidemic measures in the area with a significant spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by coronavirus SARS-CoV-2” (as amended by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated February 17, 2021 No. 104) , according to the order of the Head of the Secretariat the following working schedule of the Commission was continued until April 30, 2020:
On February 3, 2021, the online regular meeting of representatives of international assistance projects on strengthening the Rule of Law organized by the USAID New Justice Program took place.
The representatives of the highest state authorities of Ukraine, international organizations and international technical assistance projects participated in the event.
According to paragraph 2 of section II “Final and transitional provisions” of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges” and some laws of Ukraine on the activities of judicial authorities” the powers of the Commission members have been terminated from the date of entry into force of this Law (07.11.2019). As of today, a new composition has not been formed yet.
At the same time, the Secretariat of the Commission within its powers during 2020 carried out:
The Editorial Board of the Journal reports that due to the restrictions provided by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 02, 2020, No. 1198 “On amendments to the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 04, 2019, No. 1070 and of July 22, 2020, No. 641”, not all concerned had the opportunity to timely subscribe to the scientific and practical legal Journal of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.
