On September 22, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the ability of three candidates for the position of judge to administer justice in the Sumy Court of Appeal.
Based on the results of the session, the Commission took the following decisions:

In total, 19 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in the Sumy Court of Appeal, 7 candidates did not confirm it, and the qualification assessment of 1 candidate was suspended.
The Commission has completed interviews with all candidates for the position of judge of the Sumy Court of Appeal.
It should be noted that 27 candidates applied to participate in the competition for 21 vacant positions of judges at the Sumy Court of Appeal.
On September 29, 2025, the Commission will provide recommendations to candidates for appointment to the positions of judges of the Sumy Court of Appeal, as well as the Zhytomyr Court of Appeal, within the framework of the competition announced by the High Council of Justice on September 14, 2023.
