On October 03, 2025, at a session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, sitting in Panels, an interview was conducted and the results of the qualification assessment of Larysa Dubyna, a candidate for the position of judge at the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal, were determined.
During the special background check, information concerning the candidate was obtained, which had to be assessed in determining her compliance with the criteria of professional ethics and integrity during the interview and the evaluation for the position of judge of a general appellate court.
As a result of the qualification assessment, Larysa Dubyna scored 634.85 points. The Panel decided to recognise the candidate as one who did not confirm her ability to administer justice in a general appellate court.
It should be recalled that 33 candidates applied to participate in the competition for 16 vacant judicial positions in the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal.
In total, interviews were conducted with 9 candidates: 4 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in a general appellate court, 3 candidates did not confirm such ability, interviews with 2 candidates will be conducted at a plenary session of the Commission.
