The meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine was attended by 13 members of the Commission in plenary session: Mykhailo Bohonis, LyudmylaVolkova, Vitalii Gatseliuk, Yaroslav Dukh, Roman Kydysiuk, Oleh Koliush, Volodymyr Luhanskyi, Ruslan Melnyk, Oleksii Omelian, Andrii Pasichnyk, Roman Sabodash, Ruslan Sydorovych, Serhii Chumak.
- The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine decided to submit to the High Council of Justice a recommendation to appoint Larysa Vakhnova (Pasatska) as a judge of the Vatutinskyi Town Court of Cherkasy Oblast.
- The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine decided to dismiss the application of Ruslan Fedyniak for review of the decision of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine dated March 18, 2024, № 213/as-24 on denial of admission to the qualification evaluation and participation in the competition for 550 vacant positions of judges of appellate courts announced by the decision of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine dated September 14, 2023, № 94/zp-23.
- The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine decided to adjourn consideration of the issue of reviewing the decision of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine dated January 29, 2019, № 15/zp-19 regarding the results of the practical assignment completed within the procedure for evaluating judges for suitability with the position held at the request of the judge of the Rubizhanskyi Town Court of Luhansk Oblast Yurii Kobzar.
- The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine decided to make a recommendation to the High Council of Justice on the appointment of Nazar Hryn to the position of judge of the Saksahanskyi District Court of Kryvyi Rih City, Dnipro Oblast.
- The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine decided to resume the initial qualification evaluation procedure of the judge of the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv City Oksana Tsarevych (Commission member Ruslan Sydorovych did not participate in voting and decision-making on this issue).
- The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine decided to exclude 4 test questions on administrative specialization for the examinations within the qualification evaluation of local court judges from the list of test questions approved by the Commission’s decision of June 05, 2024, № 156/zp-24, according to the Annex.
- The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine has decided:
To approve the coded results of the anonymous written assignment taken on July 30, 2024, by judges of local courts (administrative specialization) as part of the procedure for qualification evaluation of judges for their suitability for the position held (Annex 1).
To approve the coded results of the practical assignment completed on July 30, 2024, by judges of local courts (administrative specialization) as part of the qualification evaluation procedure for judges for their suitability for the position (Annex 2).
To establish that the violation of the exam procedure by the exam participant with individual code 0029076 recorded on July 30, 2024, shall not be taken into account when approving the results of the practical assignment.
To approve and publish on the official website of the Commission the decoded results of the exam taken by local court judges (administrative specialization) as part of the qualification evaluation of judges for their suitability for the position (Annex 3).
To admit judges (Annex 4) to the second stage of the qualification evaluation for the position of judge (dossier study and interview).
